As a manufacturer of packaging for food, beverages, personal care, cosmetics, nutraceutical, consumer electronics, home fragrance, and even medical supplies, K1 Packaging Group has been deemed an essential business during the COVID-19 pandemic. We take that role thoughtfully and are committed to providing a workplace that is safe for our employees. Early on, we implemented a Pandemic Response Plan that provides communication, advisories, and guidelines for our facilities worldwide.
Employees in our facilities are required to wear a face mask, have their temperature taken prior to their shift, frequently wash their hands, wipe down equipment several times a day, and adjust break times to minimize contact. Many staff members are working from home so we can further protect our front-line colleagues. To continue providing the safest work environment for everyone, we provide onsite nasal swab rapid COVID-19 testing for all employees, including temporary employees, once a week. While we love having visitors, we have restricted on-site meetings to only the most business-essential reasons and require visitors to complete a safety checklist before entering.
